How long will I enjoy my swimming pool?

Depending on where you live and whether the pool is equipped with a roller shutter or a heat pump, you can swim between 3 and 7 months a year. Then a well-designed swimming pool that is well established in the environment is a visual delight all year round.

I have little space in my garden, can I install a swimming pool there?

YES ! Linoxydable will be able to carefully study your project for optimal integration.

Above-ground, in-ground, semi-in-ground pool?

The above ground pool is easy and quick to install. There is no particular arrangement to make: the above ground pool is placed on a flat and stable surface. No application for a building permit is necessary if the pool does not exceed 20 m² in area and 1 m in height.

Please note: if you have not made a declaration of work, be aware that it is likely that you will have to dismantle your pool after the summer.

The buried swimming pool: the costs are higher than an above-ground swimming pool because it is necessary to carry out a larger earthwork.

The semi-buried swimming pool is a possible aesthetic bias. Moreover, the constraints are the same as for an inground pool. The apron will simply be shallower; so there will be less earthwork.

What format?

For a long time, it was considered that the larger a pool, the deeper it was, the better. Having a swimming pool meant being able to do your “lengths” at home. From the “sports” pool, we gradually moved on to the convivial pool. The current trend is moving towards the concept of well-being, relaxation and leisure at home.

Users are opting for smaller in-ground pools than before… but we are more interested in materials and equipment.

Where can I set up my pond?

Before you build your pool, you need to know where you can install it. Indeed, you cannot think of building your pond anywhere in relation to your neighborhood. You must consult the local regulations of your municipality and more specifically the local urban plan and, if applicable, the internal regulations of your housing estate.

Why choose a stainless steel pool?

A 316L stainless steel pool will not crack. It does not require a large construction site for its implementation, which does not destroy your garden.

Unalterable: Stainless steel pools have a much longer lifespan than traditional pools. 316L stainless steel is the material that best resists corrosion and the consequences of time on your pool.

Stainless steel is flexible and very resistant: it withstands temperature variations without damage, but also slight movements of the ground or foundations. Moreover, this material also meets safety requirements in seismic zones.

Opting for a 316L stainless steel swimming pool means choosing

the best material with the greatest longevity.

Perfect integration into its environment: Its silver color gives the pool water inimitable reflections with changing reflections depending on the brightness and the angle of view. The stainless steel walls change the color of the water from sky blue to turquoise green

light: This is an important parameter when it comes to installing a swimming pool on difficult ground or on the terrace of a building. And, in the case of a renovation, its lightness will allow installation on the foundations already in place without it being necessary to adapt them.

economical and easy to maintain: Stainless steel is a naturally hygienic material. Its non-porous surface prevents the proliferation of algae and bacteria, the main maintenance cost of swimming pools. The use of chemicals is considerably reduced and makes the water much healthier and clearer.

more ecological: In addition to the reduction of products and maintenance costs, stainless steel is a 100% recyclable material unlike traditional concrete & polyester pools.

Monobloc and self-supporting, our pools can be installed above ground, semi-buried or buried whatever the type of ground. In addition to the undeniable advantages of the material, whose appearance does not change over time, Linoxydable pools are distinguished by a sleek design: right angles, mirror skimmers, etc.

Which stainless steel?

Linoxydable has opted for 100% 316L stainless steel (Marine Quality). The parts in contact with the pool water as the structural parts are made with the same stainless steel.

What is the daily cost of a swimming pool?

Several parameters must be taken into account: the volume of the swimming pool

The water consumption of a swimming pool:

In an open pool, it is normal to lose +/- 1 cm of water per day through evaporation. Bathing and certain maintenance operations also contribute to this. High traffic also implies a loss of water.

Please note that the water level must not drop below the skimmer. This risk can be avoided by installing automatic filling. All Linoxydable pools are equipped with this device.

It is necessary to renew 1/3 of the volume of water in a swimming pool annually.

However, depending on the region and the climate, precipitation contributes, in whole or in part, to the renewal of water (in France a swimming pool receives approximately 90 cm of rainwater each year, i.e. for an 8×4 swimming pool approximately 30 m3 ).

In addition, the systems for covering the pools (tarpaulins, roller shutters) limit evaporation and therefore water consumption.

Pool water treatment costs:

The treatment of a swimming pool can be done in 2 different ways:

In the case of manual treatment, you will need an average of 4 buckets of chlorine, 1 to 2 buckets of ph+ or ph-, analysis accessories for a cost of around €250 per year.

In the case of automatic processing, consumer products (excluding the initial purchase of the device) have a cost of approximately €150 per year.

These costs may change depending on the equipment, the weather, the water temperature and the use of your pool.

How long does pool maintenance take?

Little. Depending on your cleaning system, electric robot, overpressure robot or suction robot, it will take you between 10 and 15 minutes/week, this time including filter washing, water analysis, cleaning of the water line. water and baskets, as well as treatment.

The more the pool is automated, the more the maintenance time will be reduced.

Secondary residence >>> specialized companies.

CONSTRUCTION / INSTALLATION:

When is the best time to build a pool?

It’s when you want but generally it’s when the good weather arrives that you want a swimming pool and yet: You should know that 2 months are necessary for a prior declaration of work. To this time, add the time required for the earthworks, the manufacture of your pool and its installation.

In total, count up to 6 months between the start of your project and the first swim in your new pool.

How far can I install my swimming pool from the neighboring plot?

To avoid neighborhood conflicts when building a swimming pool in our garden, it is very important to respect the legal distances relating to the construction of a swimming pool imposed by law.

What are the security standards that I must respect?

The first security is to teach your children to swim.

Then the vigilance of adults is essential.

To limit the number of fatal accidents, owners must equip their swimming pools with safety equipment.

What are the different stages in the construction of my swimming pool?

Do I necessarily have to install a technical room?

A technical room is essential. It allows you to control all the operations related to the operation and maintenance of your swimming pool. It must be close to the pool, which will facilitate the operations to be carried out there. Know that the closer your technical room is to your pool, the more efficient it will be.

The technical room contains the installation of the pump, the connection of the pipes and the sewage system, the filter, the controls of the filtration system, the general electricity meter, the transformer and the collector. A certain space must therefore be necessary and this must be dry, sealed and ventilated by a ventilated system.

Where to install the technical room?

Ideally, this should be next to the pool and be at a lower level than it.

Pool stairs or pool ladder?

No matter. It’s a question of taste. The current trend is for the staircase which has dethroned the ladder for several years…

Why heat swimming pool water?

Warning: you must provide something to cover the water in order to avoid too much loss of calories: thermal cover, automatic shutter or swimming pool shelter.

What type of heating?

In order to extend the bathing time over the year, we recommend heating by heat pump which provides quick and inexpensive comfort. Depending on the location of your swimming pool, your bathing period, Linoxydable will study with you the most suitable equipment.
